A lot of technique, a sharp eye

Photography has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. During my time at Universidad de Buenos Aires I learned the technical aspects: the mechanical processes that happen inside a camera when you hit that shutter, the variety of ways to light a scene, how to direct models but also how to capture moments as they occur.
While the sum of ever evolving concious decisions that make or break the technical aspects have a certain complexity to them, the hardest factor when looking to extract the perfect picture out of a chaotic moment is knowing when to hold so that you are prepared when it's go-time. My work as a photographer is built on that edge, I know when to keep my index pressed on the shutter-release button, and when observation and patience is my best card. As a photographer with a very wide portfolio, I pride myself on understanding the needs of the shoot and the wants of the client. You can find examples below.

Online Mami x Jose Fogel

As part of a passion project, influencers Agustina Cabaleiro (OnlineMami) and Jose Fogel (ChauJosefina), reached out to me to plan a bespoke photoshoot across different locations in the city of La Plata. The three of us collabed on what we wanted the pictures to look like and what emotions they should evoke. We landed on a color forward and playful aesthetic, and brought miscellaneous elements onto the scene, to land an ethereal and childlike vibe.

Kobe FC

The band chose me to bring to life the ideas they had for their official portraits and images they used on streaming platforms, including Spotify; Apple Music; and BandCamp.
One of the images we worked on together was the cover of their record "Nadie es una isla", which is the one showcased above. The photos were also used for social media presence.

Fundación IDA

I led the digitalization of archival and museum pieces for their digital platform, and was the director of their photography studio. This role comprehended the shootings of historical artifacts plus the direction of staged and candid shootings aimed to have content for social media and their website. The production workflow I developed, which focused on the safekeep of fragile historical artifacts and avoiding contamination, is still in place today.

SAT Consultores

As part of a bigger branding project, I shot professional portraits of all four partners of the accounting firm, plus some additional advisors. For this project, I also designed their branding (Logo, email signature, on-site signage) and built a website for the firm.

The New New

For their first full length studio album, The New New reached out to me to be the photographer working on the cover art and additional press images. The bandmembers and I synced on the message behind the record, and what feelings and thoughts the photography should bring up in the viewer.
Since the record is a pretty straightforward punk critique of politicians, we came up with the concept of two candidates smiling for cameras in a greenery filled background, while they step on the people they're meant to serve. The band wore smart casual clothes and their usual masks for all pictures.
